My roommate is always teasing me because according to her I always have to do things the hard way. I guess she does have a point though because I like to DIY a whole lot of things and she just doesn't understand how I can enjoy doing stuff like that myself.
Well, I love to take different kinds of materials to use as gift wrapping materials. It's always neat to see what you can wrap gifts up in. I was online not too long ago looking up new ways to wrap gifts and while I was doing that I came across some Wireless internet deals and after I looked through them with my roommate a little bit, I decided to sign up for one of them.
I was excited to finally use all of my gift wrapping supplies that I've been saving up all year, like colorful ribbon and raffia and all kinds of little charms. I had gone to a flea market a few weeks ago and picked up a huge box of costume jewelry for really cheap, so I used some ribbon to tie those pieces on to some gifts as accents.

Few more days and it's back to school again. The kids are enjoying their vacation they're both sleeping late until 11am. My goodness me it is after 10am and their both snoring still lol. I let them sleep until they want to get up. But, Saturday we need to be back on our schedule which is go to bed early and get up early. My son told me that he is not ready to go back to school yet hehehe.
Anyway I am excited to go out today with the kids because it's so warm outside. We need to enjoy this warm sunshine while it last lol. It should be in the 70s until Sunday and after that cold again:(... We are going to go to the park and have a bike ride. My son is been asking me for days now to go to the park but, the weather was really bad then. So, now that is warming up we are going outdoor.

We have this one really comfy looking blanket that's so soft in our living room on our coach and the two kids are always fighting over it because they like to cover up with it. Well, I encourage them to be nice and to just share and snuggle up together, but that just won't work with a 5 and 7 year old.
I thought about getting them each a blanket that's just like it, so I went online to try and find some more. But the thing was that I couldn't find them. While I was online doing that, I came across some info about satellite internet packages and after I read some more info, I ordered one of them for our home service.
I just decided to give them each a DIY kids blanket that has different patterns on them so that they can tell them apart and it won't be a problem to figure out whose is whose. I just hope that they won't fight over wanting the other one's blanket.

Looking for the Best Bra? Visit unbelievabra.com. You will find a lot of different design in their website. I would love to have one of those Bra and Cami with cleavage cover. I have to browse more at their website later when I save up enough money. It's so funny to watch my kids playing the wii game. I think that is the only time that I see them so quiet and concentrating.
The sun is so bright outside. It is a lot warmer now compare to two days ago. I want to go the seafood market today. So, I need to get my butt off the couch so I can get dress lol. I have been bundling myself almost all day today. I don't feel like doing anything else when it's too cold.

My kiddos are having so much fun with their new bikes. It took them a couple of try to get use to it. Now they are loving it. I guess we are so ready for summer then.:) My boy was so happy about his new bike that he doesn't want us to go home yet, even it was getting dark at the park he still want to keep going lol.
Anyway We haven't gone outside for a few days now due to the freezing temperature. Starting on Thursday will be doing outdoor stuff. It will be in the 70s from Thursday all the way to Sunday. So, we are having a warm New Year here in Florida!
Posted by Angel at 12:08 PM
Starting Thursday we are going to have a little break from the cold weather. But then by next week it looks like the cold weather will come back to us. Anyway check out used cars Tampa if you are planning to buy one. Speaking of Tampa it has been almost two years since the last time we visited that place. We always go there before every time there's a reptile show. But.
My friend just went shopping for a used cars last month and now she got her Van. It doesn't even look like use car. So, if you are planning to shop for a use car just click the link and it will take you to there website.
Anyhow I need to get the kids ready we are going out to the mall. My daughter want to go shopping for a new boots. I hope the store still carry the boots that she like. I check the week before Christmas and they're out of stock. Now I am hoping that they got it.

We had all our presents open and everyone is so happy! Hubby got me a decals of my favorite fishes so I can put it on my car lol. The most important thing is that the kids really enjoyed Christmas. Right now they are dancing using wii just dance. Both of my kids are enjoying it. They look so funny when they're trying to do the dance. I tried it earlier and my body is sore now wahahaha. I guess I am getting old.
My son is really getting to be a big boy. Every time we are out driving around he always read the traffic signs. So funny because it seems like it was just yesterday when he started talking. Now, he can read and more. I am so proud of my kids they are doing so good at school.
Tonight we are just going to watch movies and play some more. The kids are having so much sugar cookies and chocolates. Anyway my little boy is having a bad time right now because he is getting sleepy. I need to take care of this cranky little boy.

Merry Christmas everyone! We are finally done opening presents and the kids are enjoying all the good stuff they got from Santa. I am so happy that my kids love all the presents they got. There is only one complain and it's from my little boy. He said there is only one thing that Santa did not drop off his cell phone lol.
We told him that's because Santa think that he is still too young to have a cell phone. Then he said it's okay mommy I can have it on my birthday right? Lol so I said yes on his birthday hehehe. Now we have a happy camper and all they do today was playing and eating. I been eating a lot of goodies so, after the holidays I need to concentrate on my workouts otherwise I will bubble up again:(...
We still have New Year celebration to come more eating again. So I really need all the workouts I can get after this hehehe. Have wonderful night everyone! Will be sharing some pictures later.

Today we had a nice lady day, I guess that is what Saturday is all about. After a long work and school week for myself and the kids, we just wanted to relax. We decided to have movie night and snuggle on the couch. Instead of watching movies we decided to watch our favorite children's channel on DirecTV . We have many but after voting, we chose to watch PBS Sprout. It is similar to the PBS channel that we are all familiar with except there is nothing but kid cartoons all day and the children love it. Their favorite is Calliou because he is a cute little four year old that acts like a normal four year old. My twins are four so they can relate really well to this program. I love how the show depicts the behavior and interaction of a typical four year old. The show not only shows the good side of being a four year old but it shows the not so fun side of it. For example, they show when he is not happy and how he deals with not being happy or being sad. The program shows, how he interacts with his younger sister. It also shows how they sometime do not get along but how they still love one another. It is overall a great show that mimics real life and is great for children to watch.

One of my hobbies before is driving a motorcycle and I miss doing it. It has been almost 11years since the last time I rode one. I remember when I had an accident when I drove a motorcycle without a head light. I ran over 3 cows that are sleeping next to each other on the road. I did not see it because it was dark. I actually climb up the top of them then, my cousin who is riding with me jump off and push me off balance so I end up seeing a stars lol. I am so lucky that I did not have any serious injury aside from scratch and bruises I did not even wear a helmet at that time. God was watching over me. After the accident I end up at the store browsing around on Motorcycle Helmets.
Nowadays It's so easy to go shopping for helmets just go online and click click. Both of my brothers have a motorcycle and I am thinking of buying them the HJC Helmets. I like the design and I am pretty sure that they will like it too. I have to ask them what color they like then, I'll decide from there. Anyway have a good day everyone! I have to get out the house and grab some paper towels at the store.

Mickey's very merry Christmas party was really fun. The whole family had a blast at disney world. My son was asking me if we can come back to disney on summer and I just said yes lol. So, now I have a little boy who is looking forward to go back to disney on summer. He love all the ride that we rode on. His favorite one was the speed raceway.
It was so cold on that day even we bundled up. The hot cocoa makes the night a lot better plus a lot of sugar cookies. The kids just love it! We got home around 3am and I was so tired. My son got up so early in the morning and had a big smile on his face. He told me that he really had a good time at disney.
Also he is already reminding me about going to disney on summer!

My favorite movie to watch during the Christmas season is March of the Wooden Soldiers starring Laurel and Hardy. This movie is a timeless classic and is my favorite movie of all time. I still find myself anticipating the end when all of the soldiers are let loose.
This movie is normally played on Thanksgiving Day but, it sets the tone to me for the Christmas holidays. Without seeing this movie, I feel my holiday has not been complete. I haven't missed it once in the last thirty five years. I also now own in on DVD so I can watch it whenever I like. But, it's funny I still only watch it during Christmas.
My family and I have made a tradition of watching this movie on our CableTelevision. Whatever we are doing, we all make sure that the Saturday following Thanksgiving is set aside for this. We make a nice pot of hot chocolate, a big bowl of popcorn and sit down to watch.
The graphics of this movie are horrible by todays standards but considering it was made back in 1934, I am sure it was a pioneer in the genre at that time. Laurel and Hardy were a comedy team who's routines were hysterical and they are what makes this movie great.

I had to help my son's teacher for the Christmas party at school. The kids had so much fun! They watched the polar express and we served them hot chocolate and popcorn. The kids had a blast! After they watched the movie we read books to them and gave them more snacks. I think the kids had too much chocolate candies on the party.
After lunch they got more sweets. We served them a cupcakes and cookies. At the end of the day the kids was so happy and had a smile on their faces. I also had so much sweets lol. Both of my kids had so much fun on their Christmas party. Will be back to school next year for now we have to enjoy the vacation.

Today is the last day of school. Winter break is here and tomorrow is the beginning of the kids vacation. They are both looking forward for the fun holiday vacation! First stop is disney world. Both can't wait to hop in the car and go to disney.
I hope that it won't rain when we get there. I want the kids to enjoy the trip. Hubby started to cough couple days ago. and I hope that he feels better soon so we will enjoy our disney trip. The kids are looking forward on this trip. I want to make sure that it's memorable and fun for the two of them.
The weather today was really good it's warm and nice outside. I wish it's like this all the time. But, it looks like the cold weather will come back next week. Well, lets just hope that it won't be as cold like three days ago.

The day of an office party I never eat anything until because there are so many great cooks and bakers that work in our office. That also means that it can get a little competitive about who has the best dish. Normally we even vote on who has the best dish. But up until now it's been unofficial. Someone proposed that this year we actual have an official contest for it. So now we're pulling out all the stops.
I've been doing some heavy research online for what I'm going to make for the party and have all kinds of ideas but have been having a really hard time deciding on just one thing. One night when I was searching for some recipes to use, I came across some information about and decided to GETCLEARWIRELESSINTERNET after a little bit of consideration.
One recipe that I think just may be what wins out, for what I'm going to fix at least, is reindeer cupcakes. I think that they're so adorable and cupcakes are always a hit at office parties.

Shopping in Savannah on Black Friday is not what it's cracked up to be. The malls get some business but the most popular places to shop are oddly Belk on Victory Drive and the specialty shops in the strip mall where Walmart is on Victory Drive. I reckon people don't want to be crushed in the malls so they spread out to the other stores. Anyway, Belk is where it's at.
You don't want to shop on Black Friday in Savannah until first thing in the morning. That way you beat traffic coming in from the islands and they're all at work. About nine a.m. is perfect. So the first thing you see in Belk is the perfume counter and it smells so good you just have to stop. You'll get Yves St. Laurent's Rive Gauche for about twenty one dollars on sale from thirty nine dollars. Then you'll move on to the scarves, gloves and hats where you'll pick up a darling pink cashmere set for twenty two dollars, down from forty six dollars. Now that you smell good and are garbed in soft cashmere, you'll trek through shoes and pick up a pair of sneakers for fourteen dollars that are pink and have good tread. Replete with pink garb, you'll go home looking and smelling wonderful where you'll watch DirecTV until Christmas.

What a freezing day we have here in Florida. There was a lot of accident this morning in the entrance of our neighborhood. They turn on the sprinklers and it turns the road so icy and slippery. Therefore the traffic was so bad and I have to drive so slow so I won't have an accident. The kids saw the accident on the right side of the road and saw a blood. It was not a good scene for the kids to see.
Anyway we got to the school at 8:30am and the kids got tardy. I was a little upset because it was not our fault to be late for a few minutes. Well, At least we got to the school safe! The school start at 8:30 and if you get there by 8:30 they consider you to be tardy. Which is not fair for the kids. We have reason why we got to school at 8:30. But, anyway I guess one tardy is not that bad at all.

It seems like forever since the last time I had the chance to see my children's face light up at the site of the man in the red suit and fake curly beard. Santa Clause is a Christmas fixture that even the most jaded individual enjoys seeing in my opinion. The stores become more crowded and the prices of toys climb ever higher. However, the sight of my kids sitting on his lap and telling them their little heart's desires always makes me smile.
This year it seemed to take a lot longer for Christmas to come around for me and mine. The bills were hard to pay at times but thankfully that cleared up toward late summer and now we can enjoy the fruits of our labor as we bundle up to survive the winter.
I've got the kids out the door already. Once I finish this blog post and set my home security alarm from BESTHOMESECURITY we'll be off to see Santa. Perhaps this year I won't have to explain to the kids how Santa can be standing outside with a charity bucket and sitting inside with his perky elven assistant. They are very young, however. It is easy to convince them that magic is real and not just something to be seen on stage. That might be the best part of Christmas to me, the belief in my children's eyes as they experience the magic and wonder of the holiday season.

Here is a picture of me and our Christmas tree. My daughter and I pick this color this year. Also hubby got me this new tree. I am loving it because we have more space on the living room now. I have to get rid of my old tree it just too wide for the room. So, I pick this tree this year the same height tree but skinnier.
I let the kids decorate the small tree on the family room this year. They had so much fun decorating it. Now we are ready for Santa to come. I have to get all the wrappers out and start wrapping for santa lol.

I had a fun birthday yesterday! Hubby took me out for lunch and he got me beautiful flowers and other stuff. When the kids got home from school we also took them out for dinner. My family in the Philippines called me and I was so happy to hear their voices. I can't believe how big are my nieces and nephews now. I miss them so much and hearing their voice it makes me feel a little better.
Anyway I hope it will warm up today so we can go out. It suppose to be in the 70s today but, I don't know if that will happen. The kids got up so early and start playing. Now they are watching cartoons. I need to go and make them breakfast. Have a wonderful weekend everyone.

I have more cleaning to do today and I don't feel like doing it because its so cold. My goodness me I want to just hide under the blanket all day. I don't have any choice but to do it. Christmas is coming and it makes me miss my family back home so much. It breaks my heart every Christmas that I am not with them. How I wish to spend Christmas with them but that is impossible maybe next year or the next year after that lol.
December is my birthday and also there is Christmas but, for some reason it makes me feel sad. Maybe because I am thinking to much about my family in the Philippines. I miss my parents and my siblings so much.
Anyways here is a place for you to go in Austin Texas if you need air duct cleaning company austin, steam carpet cleaning machine austin, furniture upholstery cleaning austin and more. Just click the link to find out more about their services.

My birthday is coming very soon and I don't have any plans. I don't know what hubby and the kids are planning. But, for me I just want a quiet and relaxing day. We are going to Disney world next week all of us are excited. We also hope to see our friends there it's been awhile since the last time we visited Orlando. Whenever we go in Orlando we always make an extra trip to our old house. We want our son to see where we live before. Our daughter is old enough to remember but, our boy was so young when we moved. Hubby also have a friend who live there so, we always stop by and say hi to them.
Anyway if you are looking for a pulse oximeters for sale just visit concordhealthsupply.com. It is always nice to have one of those handy. Anyhow I might have to go and see my doctor again this coughing is not going away. I have been taking so much cough medicine and still can't get rid of it. This a very bad winter for me already. I had strep and sinus infection and now the coughing problem grrrrr. Happy hump day everyone...

The sun is so bright outside but the temperature is still cold. I guess the sun is a good sign that soon will warm up again. We need a little bit of heat lol. We got lucky this morning because hubby warm the car up for us. So, when we drove to school the car was very warm. Now I am back at home and trying to keep my feet warm while blogging.
When the weather like this I just want to stay under the cover all day. My son was complaining this morning and doesn't want to get up. Anyway I got them to school on time and when we walk to the school from the parking lot it was way better compare yesterday. There is no freezing wind today! So, the walk was pretty good actually.

I am still trying to keep my weight down even it's so hard. I haven't been exercising lately because I got sick. But once I get better I will be back on that treadmill. I was thinking about using diet pills but I want to keep my exercise and diet first. Then, if that doesn't work I can look for the best diet pills in the market. I am still hopeful that my exercise and the right foods to eat will help me lose more weights.
There are so many people that is using weight loss diet pills to help them lose weight and it works for them. Anyway I am still coughing really bad but, today I started to ran in the treadmill again. It feels good after I exercise but the coughing still bothering me. I have so much work to do today so, I better get off her and start working. Have a warm week ahead everyone! Its going to be a freezing week this week so try to keep yourself warm...

It's going to be in the low 20s and only high in the 50s this week. I am not looking forward to a very cold morning. Today I bundled the kids up because it's freezing outside. It was very nice inside the car I turned on the heater. But then when we come out my goodness me the wind is so cold brrrrrrr. On the way back to the house I was coughing nonstop.
How I wish I can get rid of this coughing soon the cold weather is not helping. Anyways I guess I have to work on the DVDs today. I need to use a DVD duplicators to make copies of our family videos. We have a lot of videos that I want to share with my family. Hubby is the one who usually do this work but, he is so busy at work and don't have time to do it. So, here I am trying to read the DVD duplication guide.

I'm so over the really glittery and shiny look for holiday decorations. I used to be really into it, but now I'm more into the natural and woodsy holiday decorations looks. Besides, I think that it's a little more simplistic and classic than what we used to decorate with before.
I guess it's also kind of a trend in general in Christmas decorations, or so I can tell from all of the interior design blogs that I love to read on a regular basis. While I was reading one of them about a week ago, I randomly saw some Clear 4g prices, did a little more research on them, and changed over our internet service at home because of them.
I used a whole lot of branches and pine cones from our backyard for my natural holiday centerpieces that I put throughout the house. I also found these really cute fake birds that you can wire onto Christmas tree branches to make them look like they're perched on them and place a few of those throughout each centerpiece.

The school is holding up an event tonight for the kids who meet the 25 books read. They are giving then a Movie party night outdoor. I am not sure if we are going because it's too cold out there. I just feel a little better I don't want to be sick again. But, then if we don't go the kids will be so upset about it. I don't know really, we have to see later.

My kids are so happy and excited about going to Disney world. I just won a 4 tickets for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas. We went there last year and we had so much fun. Right now hubby and I are still trying to decide which day we have to pick to go there. The kids want to hop in the car and go now lol. We need to plan it first. My birthday is coming up and I though we can go on that week but, the kids are still in school. So, now we are thinking about the following week since that is the last week of school then winter break.
The kids can't wait to explore disney again. This time I am sure that they are going to have so much fun because they're a lot older. The last time we went to Magic Kingdom we rode on the splash mountain ride and our son was so scared. I am wondering if he still want to go on that ride this time. We have to see then. One thing for sure I am going to take a lot of pictures on that trip.
This time I won't be doing what I did last year. On the way home I started to look at all the pictures that we took and then I started to delete the picture that I didn't like. Guess what happen? I end up deleting everything. I was crying on the way home lol. Good thing we have a few pictures in the other camera. But, the most picture was the one I deleted. Lesson learn never to do it again!

Hubby and I are planning to buy a new mailbox. We are looking at the lockable mailboxes. We had a couple incident happen in our mailbox First somebody knocked it down to the ground then, the second time it was an eggs thrown inside. The mailbox was a mess because of the eggs was all over the place. Since then we've been searching for a locking mailbox. Having a mailbox with a lock on it can keep those crazy people away from putting nasty stuff in your mailbox.
I was so upset when I saw the mailbox with a broken eggs inside it was really a big mess. Now we want to be protected and trying to look for locking mailboxes. The first incident was worst compare to the second time. When they knocked down our mailbox the whole thing was just broken so, we end up buying a completely new mailbox. Now thinking about security mailboxes because we don't want those incident to happen again.

My husband Brian and I went out to Chapel Hill North Carolina to visit our daughter and her husband for Thanksgiving this past week. They have a lot of land and a very spacious living room and kitchen area, so they typically host the family dinner. This is the sixth year we've assembled over there, and we all had a great time, as always. We live in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, so we're fortunate enough to see our daughter throughout the year, but it is still a special when the whole family gets together in one place. Beforehand, I was able to get some new HearingAidsByMiracleEar and I was really able to catch up with the people in my life who matter most.
And since they have soooo much land, we always try and do something fun outside for a little while whether it's horsing around or just sitting out to talk. My husband and his brothers threw the baseball around while the rest of us played horseshoes. And let me tell you I never knew how athletic my fam was until then, haha!

MY goodness me it seems like the cold weather came so early this year. My feet are freezing just sitting here and blogging. I need to get a pair of socks to keep my feet warm. My son had 3 layers of clothes today. He got up and said he is freezing and he wanted to wear thick clothes for school. Well, good thing the kids bundle up because it was so cold outside.
I have to sit in the car for awhile to clear the frost on my windshield. I need to get the garage clean so I can put my car inside there. I don't want to deal with the frost every morning. Have a warm day everyone! I am trying to get myself warm too:) I need to get up and take my medicine.

Every year, the day before Thanksgiving is set aside to go shopping for our family Christmas tree. We do not dare fight the crowds on Black Friday, and it is tradition to have our tree up and decorated the Sunday after Thanksgiving. This gives plenty of time for us to bask in the glory of our beautiful tree, and allows both of my girls the opportunity to help decorate.
This year we have decided to get a fake tree. We will set the security alarm (alarm systems deals) before we head out the door, and travel the half-hour drive to the nearest Wal-Mart to pick out a tree. We are looking to purchase the fanciest tree that we can find, with long, beautiful green limbs. We would also like to get a 10 foot tree. My mother, husband, father, and two girls will go Christmas tree shopping, and mom and dad will also choose a tree for their home at the same time. They prefer the white colored trees, but for me, it just isn't Christmas if it isn't green! We'll also buy some new decorations while we are there, and extra lights to make our tree sparkle!

My daughter really wants to have a new boots for Christmas. So, she got it on her Christmas list along with other girls stuff. My kids got their Christmas list early this year and that is good because we can get the stuff a little bit at a time. Then, by Christmas we should got them all. I just love the look of my kids face when they saw the presents.
Anyway I just checked out zappos.com. They got the boots that my daughter want for Christmas. I will be looking at the other shoes with her when she gets home from school. I like the UGG Classic Tall boots myself. My baby girl needs a new tennis shoes also. By Christmas she'll have most of the stuff that she wanted.
I love to collect shoes a lot. I have a bunch of them already and most of the shoes that I have I never even wear. Right now the shoes are just sitting in the closet. I guess it's a women thing we love shoes. Anyhow Have a great day everyone! I am trying to get caught up with the laundry today. I have so much to do since I been sick for a few days. I am not hundred percent back to normal yet but, I can move around now and do stuff.

Yesterday was so warm and nice no cold wind the sun is bright. But, today is totally different from yesterday. When we step outside today the wind was so cold. I can't believe how it turn to cold so quickly. The wind is really freezing and there is no sun to warm it up. The clouds in the sky is so dark and thick that, I think it will rain any time soon.
We suppose to put our Christmas lights outside this afternoon. But, since the weather is sucks we need to wait on the warmer day to do that. I don't want to be out there in the cold. My throat just got a little better I don't want to be sick again. I am still taking my medicine and I don't like that part but, at least the medicine is helping me a lot. I just wish that the coughing will go away it's so annoying.

When we were growing up, my mom used to always make the best looking bows with all this scrap ribbon to put on top of our Christmas presents. I was always so jealous that she could do that because mine were so limp and ugly looking. She tried to show me how so many times how to make them, but I could never get them to look right.
I've just bought those premade bows that aren't very pretty up until now and I decided that this would be the year that I would learn how to make a proper bow. I found some instructions for how to make a bow with my Wireless Internet and bought a bunch of festive ribbon that I found on clearance at a craft store.
I've tried out making a few gift bows and although they aren't the best looking things, they look okay. I think it also helps though that they're made with really pretty looking ribbon. I guess this is the same as almost everything, practice makes perfect.

Hubby just got himself an early Christmas present. He got the Video Converter and he is so happy. But, still I need to get him something for Christmas. I am hoping to find out what he really want for Christmas. I guess I have to be a spy from now on and see what he really likes. We got most of the stuff for the kids already and now I need to start wrapping Christmas presents soon.

Just got back from my doctor's office and I am positive on strep throat. My throat looks really nasty inside and painful. It hurts really bad and I hate it this is my first time to have strep. My family had it before but not me. I guess I am now officially part of the strep throat club lol. The good thing now is that I have the medicine that I needed to get rid of this thing.
I hope to get better soon so I can get back on my normal routine. I really need to get back on my exercise. I been not exercising for over a week now and I am not happy about it. Although I did not gain any weight but, I want to lose more. So, once I am feeling okay again I need to get back to my exercise again.
I am still crossing my finger to lose more weight. For now I need to concentrate on getting better. I hate taking medicine but, this time I don't have any choice but to take it. I just hope that the medicine will start kicking in soon! Have a wonderful week ahead everyone...

I will be a lot better tomorrow I think.

I am not having a good day today and not feeling good. I just wish that I'll be back to feel better soon. Anyway hubby and I are planning to buy a storage shed to put in our back yard so we can get rid of some stuff in the garage. I want to park my car inside the garage so I don't need to worry about the frost every morning.

A lot of people have family close by that they can spend their Thanksgiving day with. Unfortunately for me, I was never particularly close with my family. A lot of things happened that I don't like to talk about. This means the normal family get together most people experience never happens to me. Well, for the last two years I have been attending a local college in an attempt to educate myself and improve my work prospects. During this time I met a few friends and one of those friends in particular understand my situation.
Jessica has been there for me for a long time and she doesn't have the money to fly home on holidays since her family lives on the other side of the country. We got together and had a few drinks, ate a few turkey sandwiches, and in general had a good time goofing off for Thanksgiving instead of sitting around and being miserable. The same thing happened again the next year. We've already discussed it and it will happen this year as well.
Our friends constantly claim we're dating, but we're just great friends. Friends can snuggle up and watch satellite television from www.dish.tv after eating turkey sandwiches, right? Well, we plan to do the same thing this year and they can all be jealous. Jessica makes the best sandwiches and I can bake one heck of a sweet potato pie.

Last year when Christmas rolled around, I promised myself that I was going to get a little more serious about gift wrapping and learn how to put together some great looking holiday gifts. Before I barely knew how to make a bow, so I used one Saturday to sit down and learn how to make some bows and take the time to wrap gifts neatly. This year I'm practically going to be an expert!
I've been using my clear internet to look up sustainable and green ways to wrap gifts and lots of people have come up with some really great ideas!
But I still have a lot of wrapping paper on hand because sometimes gifts just look better with wrapping paper. I also like to use tiny scraps of wrapping paper to wrap bigger things and layer pieces of paper in strips to act like ribbon or bows. Plus the really small scraps are great for making little personalized gift tags. ItÕs those little small things like that that can make a gift that much more special.

I can't believe how crazy it was today at the road and in the store. My daughter and I went to a couple of girly store. We did found a very good deal. I got her a couple pair of shoes for only 2.49 that was so cheap. So, now she is so happy on what she got. I got something for my son also and then off we go home. I couldn't stand the traffic today.
My husband had to park the car while my daughter and I shop. We couldn't find a parking spot near the store. Well, next year I'll just stay home and relax. The kids are camping out in our living room right now while watching movie. Soon will be dinner time and we have a lot of leftovers to eat.

Tomorrow is the day to shop for the black Friday sale. I want to buy a tory burch shoes also I saw a tory burch fur boots that I really like. I love collecting shoes I guess its a women thing. My daughter is like me she love shoes too. She wanted us to buy her a fur trim boots for Christmas. The one that she like is a little expensive so mommy is saving for it.
I also checked out earlier the stuart weitzman and jeffrey campbell shoes. They have a lot of beautiful shoes and boots. I just love browsing around for shoes. Whenever we go to the store I always spend so much time at the shoes department. My husband and son doesn't care much about the shoes but my daughter and I love to browse around.
Tomorrow I am going to check out a couple of store. That if I'll be able to get up early lol. I don't usually go out on black Friday but, tomorrow I will try.

It's going to get cold again on the weekend. Hubby and I never try to use our fireplace before and now that it's getting cold again we are thinking about using it. But, we need to buy Gas Logs for it. We are going to look at R. H. Peterson Real Fyre Gas Logs also we can use a Outdoor Campfyre for the screen room. Since this is our first time to try to use our fireplace we need to read the Gas Log FAQs and more.
Hubby is really looking at the Robert H. Peterson gas logs. I am wondering if we are able to start using it this weekend we have to see. My friend is using a Vented Gas Logs and they like it. I was so happy that finally the whole week this week was very warm but, now we are heading to the cold weekend. So we need to take our jackets again.
We just got better from colds so we need to bundle up this weekend we don't want to catch cold again.

Our son ate a lot of turkey tonight and he fall asleep after lol. I can't believed that he fall asleep after dinner.
The funny part is that when he woke up he asked for more turkey. He just love turkey with gravy he is dipping the white meat to the gravy. We had fun preparing everything today and we just eat and relax. Now is movie time for all of us. I probably go to bed early tonight since I went to bed at 2am last night. I need some sleep tonight.

Family get together is what I missed most. Back home we always have this kind of get together all the time. Over here in the States it's kind of lonely because sometimes you have to celebrate holidays without any Family coming over. Well, after of years living here I kind of use to the it. But, sometimes I still wish that we can celebrate the holidays with everybody you love. Living here that idea is very impossible.
Anyway speaking about family have you check out genealogy blogs? If you want to find out your heritage and ancestry visit their website. It is always nice to know everything about your family. I am glad I grew up knowing the roots of my family back home. I miss my family so much it's been years that I did not spend the holidays with them and I miss it so much. Well, maybe someday soon.
For now I am just enjoying the life here with my loving husband and two beautiful kids. It's getting late already gotta get up early tomorrow. I need to get in bed have a wonderful night everyone.

When my best friend and I are together, we usually want to go out. Before leaving the house, I always set my home security alarm from http://www.allhomesecurity.com/ before I visit my best friend. In going out, this usually includes things such as; pedicures, dinner, holiday related outings without children or going to the movies.
Best friends are very special; they are someone who can always understand, no matter what situation presents it. They are always there through the good and the bad days, and always counted on in a pinch. My best friend always brings out the best in me, and sometimes spending special time with another person who is so very important to you, makes getting through another week that much more bearable.
When my best friend and I go out, we know that the evening will be special. No matter if it is to a movie or just out to dinner alone, we know there is no judgment in what we say to one another, and we know that we are going to get from the heart advice and understanding.

Look what I made yesterday the yummy filipino dish. The kids and hubby love it. The kids love the colorful tapioca. It's really good during cold weekend. My kids want me to make more later. We ate all of it yesterday. What's going to happen with my diet lol.
Well, I have to get back in my exercise as soon as I feel better. I feel so guilty when I am sitting around eating without the exercise. My son keeps feeding me with oranges and grapes. It's better than eating junks I guess. The grapes and oranges are so sweet. Now, the kids are having fun eating fruits thanks to daddy for buying us a bunch of fruits.

There are a lot of good deal right now if you buy new car. I would love to have a new car but, not right now I am happy with what I have. Maybe later when I have enough budget to have a new one. I was looking at Toyota Sienna and GMC Yukon-Xl. After having a small car for so many years I would love to have a bigger one next time. For now I need to keep saving for it.
My show my son the picture of BMW M3 at thecarconnection.com. He really like it and he want me to buy it hehehe. I told him someday maybe we can afford it. If you are interested about the BMW car visit link above more info. Anyhow, I am trying to recover from this sickness that I have today. I hope to be better soon. I hate taking medicine be for colds because it makes me sleepy all day.

Headache and more is what I have right now. My sinus just went back and I don't like it at all. I took some medicine while ago I hope it will start working soon. Anyway I was wondering if you guys know about Online Trading and Online Broker. Today I checked out firstrade.com and it makes me so interested about their Mobile Trading and also Stock Trading. I want to read more about the services that they're offering when I feel better.
Right now my head is really hurting and I can't stay in the computer for a long time. As soon as I feel better I want to read more about IRA Accounts. For now I need to focus on getting better. I promise the teacher to help her next week. So, I need to get better or else I couldn't go to school next week.
Thanksgiving is almost here and the kids can't wait for their Thanksgiving off. Anyhow I need to try to take a nap and I hope to feel better when I get up. I want to go around the store today to look for Christmas present for the kids. But, I am not up for it today.

I was up so early today because of my coughing. I woke up coughing and I couldn't go back to sleep anymore. Then, my son also got up early and sit right next to me. So, now we he is watching cartoons. I was hoping to feel better today but then I woke up coughing. The good thing is that my sinus is a lot better today so is my sore throat.
Now is a new thing the coughing I hate it. Tired of coughing already I can't wait to get over this. The weather is cold again outside mr. sunshine did not show up yet. The cold temperatures are not helping us. Since I am not feeling good will be staying at home today and watch movies. It will be our movie marathon day.

We are now in the process of picking a color to paint the exterior of our house. We already have a couple of color that we like. But, we want to look for more colors. Everything out there need to be change including the wall address plaques. I am hoping to find an address plaques that will match the color of the house. I have to go back to the store today and will try to finalize the color that we are going to choose.
It's going to be a lot of work but I am ready for it. I want everything to be ready including the address plaques and numbers so that way we don't need to keep going back to the store. I just want to start and get over it. It's been a while now since the last time I paint. The last time I painted our house it was really fun.
The kids probably want to join in the fun also. We have to see what is the result. I will be sharing some photos in here after we are done painting. You will see the before and after picture.

I can't imagine a better time I've ever had in my life than the time I spend playing for my local bowling league. All of the teams are very good, but my team is the best; in five years, we've won three league championships and just might win this year too. Because the competition is so good, it makes beating them that much better; I even get bragging rights over the guys I work with because they are on the opposing teams.
I had set the home security alarm (Adt security information) before leaving my house this Saturday when I received a call from a teammate. He told me there was a state tournament coming up and that he thought we had a good shot of winning the grand prize of $100,000. I couldn't pass up the chance and told him to count me in. The team has practiced every day, including the time we spend competing in our league tournament.
Even if we don't win the grand prize, just competing on a team with my friends means more than the money. Of course, winning would mean I get to pay off my car loan, but that's beside the point. I didn't join the team to win money; I joined so I could have fun with my friends while doing something I love: bowling.

I was in the bed most of the day yesterday. After hubby and our daughter got sick now it's my turn I guess. I had bad headache and sinus plus sore throat yesterday I couldn't even talked for a long time because it hurts. I finally took some medicine that make me feel better and also knock me out the whole night.
I wasn't able to update blog yesterday because of it. Good thing my friend is the one who pick up the kids from school because I feel so crappy yesterday. Both of my kids was so happy because my friend bought them happy meal. When they got home they still have some food and my son said his chicken nuggets was really good. I am glad that the two of them are okay and not sick. We need to get this family sick free zone lol. I hate being sick! I hope to feel better very soon.

I had been avoiding it for a few years, but I knew that eventually I would be expected to help cook a Thanksgiving meal. My in laws asked me to host the family meal and I reluctantly agreed. I mean, they've hosted it every other year that me and my husband have been together so I guess that it's only fair. It's just that I've exaggerated my cooking and baking abilities a little. I can't do either really well.
So of course I went online to try and find some recipes that even I could pull off successfully. When I was doing that and the panic was starting to really set in, I saw the website clear-internet.com and read through it. After some consideration, I showed it to my husband and we agreed to change over our intenret service to it.
Right after that I found a cherry cobbler recipe that I think I can handle. I decided that I'm just going to buy a prebaked turkey, or else it would really be a huge disaster.

My baby girl is growing too fast. I went through her closet and she has so many clothes that doesn't fit her anymore. Now I have to go shopping for girls clothing soon. It's perfect for Christmas present. I am hoping to find a good deal on black Friday. Last year hubby got a couple stuff and it was really cheap.
I think we have to go a little early this time last year we went late. For now I need to save up so I can have some money for shopping. I know I lot of friends that are not spending much this holiday and I am the same thing. I am only buying things that we need. The kids got their Christmas list done. So, now hubby and I are going through the list.

Hubby, me and our daughter have a colds and I hate it. I hope we get rid of this soon because I don't like it at all. I been so busy lately and I have so much work waiting for me here at home. I need to have some time to work around her. I want to finish decorating the tree so I can pick up all this mess on the floor.
The kids are so excited about putting the Christmas tree up that they make me take all the Christmas decor down from the attic. Well, we have them all down by the help of my kids. But then they just put them all over the house. So, now I need to get all of this decorating done so I can get rid of all the boxes. I got some put away already but, I still have quiet a few left. I am hoping to get this house clean by Friday.

There are so many Free Foreclosures houses around us. I hope everything will come back to normal especially the economy. The question is when? I known so many people that are looking for a job and can't find any. Anyway I have a friend who is looking for a Real Estate Owned Foreclosures. I heard about this Free REO foreclosures I have to share this to my friend. It will help her search for free.
I still can't believe how much are the prices of the house right now. It's so cheap compare to the year when we bought our house. Anyhow we are trying to repaint the exterior of our house. Hubby and I already have the color that we like. Now I need to work on the papers for the home owners association to get the color approve. We are hoping to start painting by spring. I can't wait for the old color to be gone.

I am hoping to win the contest of a free tickets to the Mickey's very merry Christmas. Last year we won and we enjoyed the whole show a lot. The kids had so much fun on that trip. Anyway have you heard about retargeting companies and retargeting advertising? If you have not heard about it visit recruemedia.com. You will learn a lot more about retargeting when you visit their website.
After browsing around their website it makes me so interested about retargeting. Anyway I have the two Christmas tree up. I am not done working on it but, I'm almost done. I am hoping to finish it tomorrow but, tomorrow is another busy day for me. I have some other stuff to do tomorrow. I won't have time for my Christmas tree. I will be working on it this weekend. With the help of the kids and hubby will get that tree done in no time.

I have a very crazy day today and to top it all I am not feeling good. I volunteered to the school today. I am not feeling good but, I already promise the teacher that I am coming so I have to honor that promise. Last night I started to have a little cold sore on my upper lip and I hate it a lot. It bothers me so much I always have cold sore when the weather is so cold.
Then, when we got home today my daughter had a fever. I gave her medicine and now thank god she is feeling okay. Hubby still have the cough and colds I am hoping that he feels better soon. Now, is my time to relax and blog. I finished cleaning the kitchen and put the Christmas boxes in the garage. The kids are getting ready for bed. Soon I will have my quiet time here.

I look for a new bedding today and I haven't found one that I like. So now I am browsing around at DonnaKaranHome.com. I like the selection of Donna Karan Home bedding I have to show it to hubby and see if he likes it too. In their bath accessories I like that hot pink rug. My daughter would love it if I get it for her. She love everything pink. Even her phone and eye glasses are pink lol. If we let her decide what kind of color we paint our house she want it all pink.
She want me to buy a pink bedding for her bed. So, now I am searching for a pink bedding for her. I will take some picture of it when I got it. Anyway tomorrow is back to school and work. I am hoping to feel a little better tomorrow so I can do my exercise. It's hard for me to exercise when the kids are at home. I missed at least four days of exercise. Tomorrow I need to get back in my routine.

We had our Christmas tree on the living room up yesterday. Today I started to put some decorations on it. But, I am not close to done yet I have more work to do on that one before I can take a picture. The kids want to finish it tonight but, I told them we can't I need to buy something to finish it up. Besides it's getting late they have school tomorrow. Good thing they don't use a school uniform everyday. It's easy for me to manage what clothes they wear each day.
Speaking of uniforms my friend and I was in the store yesterday looking for a scrub tops for her work. She did bought a couple and also a scrub pants to go with it. I was glad that we found it in the first store we stop. We also got some Christmas decorations and more. I am just happy to spend some time with my friend.

I wish tomorrow will be a better day for all of us. I hope that hubby will feel better soon. The kids are doing fine thank god. They are back to school tomorrow after a 4 days off. I think on the Thanksgiving week they only have two days of school. I need to get the kids to go to bed now it's getting late here.

I think hubby is been reading all the web hosting reviews there is. He wants to make sure that he will pick the best one. So, far he did not find one that he wants yet. Although he is hoping to find one soon so he can start concentrating on his blog. Anyway we are enjoying the DVD that we got today. Well, our son wants it really bad so here we are watching how to train your dragon. The movie is very interesting and funny. My son is having a blast right now. Me I am watching the movie and blogging at the same time.
I am hungry and I don’t know what to make for dinner. I am so tired today we went fishing. The wind was so freezing. Anyhow we had so much fun and the kids too. So, right now is our relaxing time in the couch watching movie. It was so cold today out there in the river. Finally I am having a cup of hot coffee. I will be going out to go to the store today. I need to pick up a medicine in the pharmacy. Enjoy your weekend everyone! I need to get ready to go, the movie is already done.

Recently, things have felt a little strange in my apartment these days. IÕm 26 years old and I am finally out on my own after a lifetime of school. I found a great job in NYC and made a nice home for myself, but sometimes you just miss your roots. I spend a lot of evenings looking forward to the holidays. I have a huge family back in South Carolina and I am really looking forward to seeing them. My folks and my family members are a little older these days, so the time we have together is really top priority to me.
I always enjoy sharing stories and catching up with my immediate and extended family. Being away has made me a little homesick, and it is going to be very special visit when I go back. I have already started picking presents out for my family, and I have also going to help my father purchase some new Miracle Ear Hearing Aids , as well. I have an overnight bus trip planned, and itÕs going to be great to see South Carolina again. Hopefully, before too long, IÕll start a family of my own.

My son loves going to the library. I made sure to instill him with a love for books at a very young age. I teach high school, so I know all to well what a child can become when they have a disdain for reading. The branch of the public library near my house has lots of programs for children during the day. Every other Saturday, they have a story time with arts and crafts. So, I pack a bag with little odds and ends for the day. Then, I get the little one ready to go. Before I leave, I always turn on the inhomesecurity security alarm. Not that I have anything worth stealing, but I would rather not have to clean up a ransacked house. The ten minute drive to the library involves my darling son singing the theme song to the Wiggles. Motherhood really is a labor of love. When we finally arrive at the the library, I have to hold him tight, otherwise he will run off without me. As the two of us walk through those doors, and I see the wonder in his eyes as he gazes upon the endless aisles of books in amazement, instead of disgust, I can't help but feel accomplished.

We are going to have a long weekend this week. The kids have only three day of school this week. So, we are having a long weekend family bonding. I hope it will warm up a little so at least we can go fish one day. I miss fishing we did not fish in the last two weekends due to the weather. I hope that this weekend will be a better week for us to go fishing.
The kids want to go to adventure landing for the go cart ride. We have to see if we can do all our plans on the weekend. Anyway have you check out offers.com? If not visit their website today. They have a lot of wonderful stuff waiting for you in there. Before you go shopping at the store visit their website first for the best deals. Anyway I am hopping my way out in here for a while I need to get up and start my laundry marathon:).

Today is another day of freezing temperatures here in Florida. The cold weather just started and I want it over already lol. I can't do much stuff when it's cold like this. I want to do some work out in my garden in the backyard but, it's too cold out there. The wind is freezing and I can't stand it. I got the kids to school today and I am so happy because this is the second week that my son did cry.
The kids was asking me today if I am staying to help the teacher I said no next week again. I have a lot to do at home today my laundry is waiting for me. I also need to iron 2 hamper of clothes. Well, before I start ironing I am going to hop in the treadmill first since I missed my exercise yesterday because I was at school. I need to get started here have a great day everyone.

If there's a book out there that was source material for some kind of vampire or supernatural thing in pop culture, chances are that I have read it. One of my favorite things to do is to compare the original to the movie or TV show and find all of its flaws and decide which one that I think is better. I almost always think the book is better, but I still have hope for stuff so I keep on doing this.
Well I just finished doing that with the True Blood book series, but I was telling my best friend on gchat with my clearwire wimax 4g , who had done the exact same thing that there was some stuff in there that they referred to in later books that I hadn't read about in the earlier books and I didn't skip any!
Well, she told me about some Charlaine Harris short stories that are also about Sookie that happen throughout the whole series but are just in a seperate book. So thatÕs the next thing IÕm going to read.

It's too cold to go outside so we decide to just hang around the house today and watch movies. The kids love it because they can watch the movies that they wanted. I am just browsing around online today. Have you check out the shepard fairey? At their website they have the obey giant art and shepard fairey prints. If you are interested with their products just click the link and it will take you to their website.
I am wondering if the weather is going to be like this again tomorrow. I hope not otherwise will be staying at home again. I hope that next week will be a better week to go out. The kids only have three days of school next week. My son is already so excited about it. I will be spending my whole day at school on Monday. The teacher ask me if I can come and help her. So my Monday is already taken.

The kids love the cooler weather we have now in Florida. Now they spend more time playing in the backyard every afternoon. Those kids are full of energy I wish I can have some of those energy that they have. Last night I let them play at my friend's house. Both had so much fun playing in there.
When I come to pick them up my daughter's pants was so dirty. She was crawling around the grass in the backyard. My goodness me she was a mess. I sent her to the shower when we got home. My son was okay he did not dirty his clothes at all then, he told me how his sister got so dirty. I guess it's okay since they only play with their friends once in a while not all the time.

I'm a little too old for Halloween. No one wants to admit it, of course, but it looks pretty funny if you're a full grown adult and you're wandering the streets all alone in a kitty costume, begging for candy. So what do you do if you really want to go trick or tricking this year? How do you enjoy a holiday that society expects you to have outgrown?
There's a simple solution.
Take some children trick or treating WITH you.
I do it every year - there's always a church who needs chaperones for trick or treating groups, always a friend or a relative who'd rather stay at home Halloween night. This is where I graciously step in and offer my services.
"Why, sure I don't mind watching your kids! Oh no, it's no trouble at all! You know what, I'll dress up too. It'll look silly if I'm only one not in costume. And I can take a bag for leftover candy, just in case the kids can't carry it all..."
Most people are too grateful to look twice and realize that you're only in for the sweets, too!
The best part? Getting home and enjoying your goodies. Sit back, relax, watch some horror movies on our directtv packages, and eat all your candy without your parents getting angry - you're an adult now!

Some of my friends got their plans already for Christmas. For me I am still thinking what to get them. The kids are getting old and they don't know what they want. My daughter still like the Play Kitchen and Kid Kraft. If we get her that kind of stuff she probably enjoy it with her brother. Right now she is so interested in cooking. I let her help me once in a while. I still don't trust her around hot stop I think she is too young to do it.
I think Kids Kitchens is the best way for her to enjoy the kitchen stuff right now. Anyway I am getting ready for the kids to be home from school. My friend is the one who is going to pick them up today. So I have to get off here and wait for them outside. Have a great weekend everyone and enjoy your Friday night.

Here is a picture of my and my son during Halloween. I couldn't get my daughter and hubby to join us this time. But, I got a family picture of us later on that day. I will be sharing it too on my next post. When hubby put on his Halloween costume he scares the kids that are trick or treating in our house. So, when he look out the door and little kids are there he has to take off his werewolf head mask.
One kid was so scared at first, when hubby saw her scared he took off the mask and the girl said you almost scared me you know. It was really fun watching the kids go to house to house trick or treating. My son gets so mad when he is the last one in the line lol. He said they might get all the chocolates before he gets there. So, he will push my daughter and her friend out of the way so he can go first lol.

My son is getting old the other day he start talking about investing in gold. I asked him what kind of gold he said gold bullion hubby and I was looking at each other after he said that. We asked him where did you get this idea? He answered us from TV lol. Investing in bullion is really a good idea. I even heard about gold IRA also. Right now we don't have the money to buy gold bullion. But, if we have the money to invest in gold I would do it.
I know that there are a lot of people around the world buy bullion for their investment. I hope I can do the same but, for now I need to saved up for it. Anyway the night is getting late and I really need my sleep. I been going to bed so late almost every night in the past night. I don't like the feeling of being so sleepy all day everyday. So, tonight I am heading to bed earlier.

Finally after two weeks of slacking around I am back to my normal routine this week. I am back with my exercise. I am once again in the mood of doing my regular exercise everyday. I feel really good of myself again. I was feeling bad last week that I wasn't able to do my exercise but now I am back. Anyhow I am hoping that my friend will find the house that she is looking for her and her family.
Anyway my sister bought a land with the old house in it. Now she is wondering how much are the house removal costs. She wants the house to be removed so she can build a new one. I hope that she can find a company to do the job for her. I can’t wait to see the design of the house that she is building on that land.
My goodness I can’t believe how time flies. Halloween is done and now we are heading to Thanksgiving Day. After that Christmas day is just around the corner. The kids are excited for Christmas already and my son already wrote down his Christmas list. We are not buying little toys this year. Most of the time the kids just play with it in a few hours after that they don’t want it anymore.

The kids love the chocolates that they got from trick or treating. I have to put all the sweets away from their eye sight. I don't want them to have too much sweets every day. Anyway during trick or treating the kids really enjoyed it. But, the mosquitoes was having a fest on my legs. Also after awhile the kids got so tired from walking so are the mothers lol.
So, on the way back we did not stop in any houses that we pass we just keep walking so we get home faster. When we got to our house hubby still have a lot of chocolates left in the pail. We bought too much chocolates plus one of my friend brought a couple of bags with them and they add it up in the pail. Kids are looking forward again for next year.

I am watching the news right now about the election. I am wondering who is going to win for the governor of Florida. The race is so close right now I can't wait to see the result. Anyway My friend is looking to buy a house right now. She did not found the one that she like yet. So, she is still hunting for the good deal. If you are looking for a home like her visit the website of Bushari Group Real Estate. Check it out if you are looking for Boston Condos or Real Estate in Boston just click the link and it will take you to their site.
This is the best time to buy a house because the prices are so low. Anyhow our plants and grass are so happy right now. The rain is been pouring for hours now. That is good for our plants and grass because we did not have any rain for so long. Tonight is the night for that we save some money because we don't need to turn on the sprinklers.

We had a very fun Halloween night last night. I had the chance to chat with my friends and had fun with our kids at the same time. The kids was a little upset because we can't stay up late everybody goes to school the next day. The good thing is that all of us had so much fun.
I guess the economy crisis is hurting so many people right now. Normally you will see a lot of people giving away candy in our neighborhood every Halloween. But, this year not much. Even the hunted house around the corner is not present this year. Okay today is another busy day for me plus I promise my son that I will be coming to see him on lunch time. So, I need to get on with my ironing soon.

My boy is already drooling looking at this chocolates. He said he will grab a lot tomorrow and put it on his bag lol. I will be watching them so close tomorrow to make sure they don't eat to much chocolates and candies. It will be hard but, I have to do it. We are going to have a big argument about it I'm sure.
Most of the time we end up with too much chocolate and candies after awhile I just throw them away. I am not into chocolates and candies so, hubby and the kids are the one who is eating them. I will be the watcher hehehe. Getting do late in here now I am done baking so it's time for me to go to bed. Good night everyone...

We are ready for the Halloween tomorrow. I am working on the dessert right now. The kids want me to make a confetti cake for Halloween. Also I am making egg custard. I need to cook the rest tomorrow. I just bought a cookies at the store tonight so I don't need to bake it. Chocolates are also in the big bowl waiting for the kids tomorrow.
I am trying to save some money on our savings account right now. I am going to apply for citizenship soon. Anyway the kids will be so tired on Monday because of the Halloween. We are going to try to be done by 9pm tomorrow. That way it won't be too late for the kids to go to bed. We are going to bed early tonight we have to get up early to go to the boat storage to pay. The kids doesn't want to go to bed yet. They want to stay up and watch TV.

We have our first baby on the way and even though we have three months left until she gets here, we're doing our best right now to make sure that we have everything in order for her arrival. We're putting the finishing touches on the nursery but we thought that since we're almost through with it that we'd concentrate on other parts of the house that we could make more kid friendly when we have the time (and our sanity) now.
I thought that one room that we needed to switch around would be the kitchen, so I looked up some more info on what I could have done to the kitchen. We ended up getting some new appliances, including a flat surface stove so we don't have to worry about little hands poking fingers into the burners. Also, We got our oven moved further up into one of our cabinets so that it would be harder for a little kid to reach up to it and open the door. Hopefully all this work will make the time to the delivery go by faster!

I just took another picture of my eggplants in the backyard. This time I have more eggplants coming out. Its such a joy to see your plants growing. I can't wait to do my second harvest. Anyway it is so hard to type in here while I have a little boy sleeping on my shoulder.
He must be so tired at school today. His head is getting really heavy on my shoulder lol. How we are going to leave with this when he is sleeping. We are going to eat dinner late again today. We have to go to the store and pick up something to eat for dinner. Since my son is asleep we have to wait for him to wake up before we go otherwise he will be so grumpy.

What ever happened to Looney Tunes? When I was a kid, it seemed like you could turn it to like 5 different channels and watch Looney Tunes. Those were and still are some of the funniest cartoons ever created. Now you would be lucky to see them on basic cable, and you normally have to watch Looney Tunes on satellite TV from tvbydirect.com.
I think Looney Tunes was one of the best cartoon ever. I wish that kids these days could still watch them. Now the cartoons are all trippy and hardly make sense. Looney Tunes always followed a plot and had hilarious slapstick comedy for both kids and adults.
The reason Looney Tunes isn't played anymore, is supposedly because it is too violent for children. This seems a little ridiculous to me and I seriously don't understand how they can not play Looney Tunes but still play some of the crazy shows they do. Looney Tunes wasn't THAT violent. It was mainly slapstick comedy. Sure, Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck were constantly getting shot at by either Elmer Fudd or Yosemite Sam, but it was all playful.
I really wish that they would bring Looney Tunes back. Sometimes I will see a Looney Tunes marathon playing on Cartoon Network but it seems like it only happens one day a year. Let's hope they return one day.

I have been bugging hubby to change the flooring in our kitchen. It's getting too old and I don't like it that much anymore. So now we are in the process of checking out store and comparing prices. Last night we browse around the online and found the glasstilestore.com. They got a lots of stuff that are very nice. Now we are planning to put Tiles in the kitchen floor. I think Tiles would be good it makes my cleaning a lot easier.
If you are like me looking for tiles check out their website today. They have Subway tiles and more. You can also check out the their closeout and on sale stuff. Anyway I need to get up and start cleaning my bathroom. I am not feeling really well but I have to get up and do it today. I don't want to wait for another day to do it.
I can use a hand right now but, everybody is out in the house. So, that means I have to do it all myself. Being a stay at home mom is so hard and so much stuff to do. How much more for those moms that work and still do all the house chores alone.

Here is the result of our first time pumpkin carving. The whole family had so much fun doing this. So, we are now planning to do the pumpkin carving every year. My son was so happy that finally we did that. He is been waiting for us to start carving the pumpkin since last week. Finally last weekend we did it. The part that has more work on carving pumpkin is the cleaning the inside.
The kids got so tired after cleaning the big pumpkin. I end up finishing the other two. Then of course after the carving part we put candle inside and it was awesome. The kids really like it. Tonight I need to put those pumpkins outside. The kids keep it in the counter.

I did not have much sleep last night. The kids gave me their colds my throat was hurting and I also cough a little. I hate it when I'm sick I can't do much stuff around the house. Today I need to scrub the two bathrooms. I been planning to clean the two bathroom for days now and today is the day. I have to hop in the treadmill first before starting the cleaning.
Yesterday I moved all my herbs plants indoor. I will keep them in the screen room for the winter. We like to eat fresh veggies, it is always good to keep yourself healthy. Specially for me I have two kids to take care. I always try things to keep myself more healthier. I can't afford to be sick. So, I have to keep on taking my vitamins to help me boost my immune system. Cold weather is coming and the kids starting to bring home colds that they caught from school. Then now they transfer it to mommy.

We just got back from the store hubby was looking for a timberland pro steel toe boots. But, he did not found one that he likes. So, we are going to look around in the other stores. We don't have much time to go around on the other store today because tomorrow is back to school for the kids. The three day weekend that we had went by so fast. Tomorrow we are back to normal again.
While in the store I got myself a couple of levis 501. I love those jeans it last a lot longer compare to other brands of jeans that I had before. I also got hubby the Levis 514. Most of his pants now are levis. Anyway my kids are reading books right now. I need to get up and do some book logging for them.

We had so much fun with the kids yesterday. We carved 3 pumpkins and it was really fun and messy. The hardest part is the cleaning inside the pumpkin we have to scoop everything out inside. My son was the one who did not surrender with the job. My daughter left us after awhile she doesn't like to get her hands dirty lol. She was excited at first but when she saw all the work she went to her room and watch TV.
My son help all the way to the end. On Wednesday will be carving pumpkin again at school for my son's class. He can't wait for us to do that. I got a bunch of pumpkin seeds now I dry them all then later I am going to roast it. It's my first time to roast a pumpkin seeds I don't know if it's going to turn out okay. We have to see I guess. Have a happy Monday everyone! I will be posting some photos later.

Reality TV has come a long way from where it first began. My favorite Reality TV show is The Biggest Loser. This show offers it's contestants a way to lose weight. These people are pretty big and seeing the way that they are able to transform is amazing.
It's nice to be able to watch The Biggest Loser on my direct tv packages family; this allows me to record it and fast forward through the commercials. The show has inspired me to begin a workout program and to eat healthier. My favorite trainer is Jillian, she is really tough on the competitors, but they work extremely hard for her.
For the most part the contestants seem to get along and root for each other. I prefer that to when they fight and back stab. This show is there to support them in living a healthier lifestyle. The challenges are fun, although I'm glad to be watching them as opposed to participating myself. The challenges look really hard. The food challenges that are provided would definitely temp me.
The show gives them advice on how to dress; I have taken some of these tips to use for myself. It's nice that at the end of each show, they let you see how the person who had to leave is doing. They look so nice with their weight loss.
